As a vital healthcare service provider, SO+GI Scan would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we will remain open, and that we are committed to maintaining services to you, our valued clients during the current COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.
To ensure the safety of all patients and our clinical staff, we are following all guidelines issued by the Australian Department of Health for healthcare environments, including those relating to social distancing.
Therefore, from Monday 23 March we are limiting the number of people allowed in our scanning and consult rooms. Patients only will be permitted into our scan and consult rooms. In circumstances where a patient requires a complex discussion, then one other person will be able to accompany them to the consultation room.
During this time, genetic counselling only sessions will be available via tele or video conferencing to assist patients with social distancing. Please speak to our genetic counsellors for scheduling those sessions.
